We can make this work for groups of all sizes, with larger groups, we recommend breakout rooms to be introduced so that partcipants can have time to chat to others. We have done small groups of 10 up to large groups of 100+ and found they all work as long as they are slightly adapted to fit to the needs of the group.
We ask participants to unmute while they are creating to ask questions and we also ask one or two chocolatey facts during the workshop. Our virtual assistants will also spotlight participants during the making stages so that everyone feels involved and interacted with. However, if you prefer not to be interactive, that is completely fine, some people take part in the workshop with their cameras off. If you are part of a private or corporate event, we can also add breakout rooms and additional extras such as games and competitions to make it even more interactive.
We have pictures of our kits on our instagram page @MyChocolate_UK . However, this is our standard kit- we vary our kits dependent on the workshop we are delivering or also if there are dietary requirements to be considered.
Unfortuantely, we do not record the sessions due to GDPR with other guests information. However, truffle instructions can be found here: https://mychocolate.co.uk/truffle-kit-instructions/
Being in a kitchen will help with keeping your chocolate from setting and also for washing your hands regularly so I would recomment staying in the kitchen!
You will need 2 bowls to melt your chocolate in and 1 pan with some water in to help to melt the chocolate. If you do not have a hob/ stove, then you can put chocolate into a bowl and melt it in the microwave. You will also need a fork and a spoon.
We can cater for vegan or dairy free guests, please add a note on the attached spreadsheet to let us know who needs a vegan kit. The kits do not include nuts or gluten as a listed ingredient but there may be factory traces. Please note if you have included nibbles, these include gluten. Let us know if there is a different allergy you would like to check.
No problem, just let us know as soon as possible. If your invoice has already been paid, we will issue another. Please remember if we have less than 2 weeks notice, we need to charge £6 extra pp.
Once you have accepted the quote, an email will be sent with your invoice. You can click a link to pay online with credit or debit card or you can make a bank transfer using the details on the invoice.
Our Manchester workshops are held at the Malmaison, once in the premises, please ask the front desk at the Malmaison for information on where your workshop is being held.
Unfortunately we are not able to offer refunds or rebookings so close to the event time as we would not be able to resell your ticket at this stage. You can however send someone in your place, all you need to do is email them your ticket confirmation.
That is ok, you will still have a place at our workshop but the workshop will always start on time. The chocolatier will be able to catch you up on anything you may have missed.
Our workshops do not include nuts, eggs or gluten as a listed ingredient. We can offer a dairy free alternative with dark chocolate and coconut cream for the truffle making. Please note, there will be a couple of tastings that include dairy. We cannot guarantee an allergn free environment. Please make the chocolatier aware of any allergies when you arrive at your workshop.
