2 tsp white vinegar
Cheesecake Layer
230g Cream Cheese
165g Granulated Sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla
You will also need:
1 x heart-shaped cutter
Method
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13 x 18 inch cake tin.
Whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder.
In a separate bowl whisk together 3 eggs, vegetable oil, 2 tablespoons milk, vanilla extract, red food coloring and white vinegar.
Mix the dry and wet ingredients together.
Remove 250g of the batter and place in a separate bowl. Whisk in the remaining 2 tablespoons of milk. Set to one side.
Pour the remaining batter into the cake tin.
Beat the cream cheese and sugar until fluffy. Beat in the eggs and vanilla until smooth.
Pour the cream cheese mixture into the tin to cover the red velvet layer.
Drop spoonfuls of the separate red velvet batter onto the top of the cheesecake layer. Drag the tip of a knife through the red velvet and the cheesecake layers to create swirls.
Bake for 30 minutes until the center is set.
Once cool, cut out the brownies using the heart-shaped cutter.
