What to Expect
The Mini Chocolatiers Academy is a hands-on, 1-hour workshop that blends history, science, and creativity—with a little chocolate magic thrown in! Designed for students aged 8+, it takes them on a bean-to-bar journey, exploring how chocolate was first discovered and made. They’ll also learn to taste chocolate like a professional, using the smell, snap, and taste method.
Led by our charismatic Chocolatier, students will touch a real cocoa pod, smell cocoa butter in its raw form, and experience chocolate at different stages before diving into chocolate-making. Each student will craft two chocolate shapes—one using a professional marbling technique to develop real chocolatier skills, and another where they’ll be challenged to create the most imaginative design possible.
It’s fun, interactive, and fully customisable to fit your school’s needs—because learning is always better when chocolate is involved!

Frequently asked questions
Are there age restrictions for the class?
Age restrictions vary by workshop. For classes with alcohol, participants must be 18 and over. Most other classes require participants to be at least 8 years old, though some, like the Shoreditch Challenge and Kids Classes, may allow younger ages with adult supervision. Contact us if you’re unsure before booking.
Do children need to be accompanied by an adult?
Yes, all children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. For public classes, accompanying adults need to pay to take part in the experience alongside their child.
Do you cater for children’s birthday parties?
Yes, we do! For children’s birthday parties, we require at least one adult for every five children to be present (though the adult doesn’t need to take part). If you're looking for something specific, chat with us about your requirements, and we’ll be happy to create a bespoke package that works for you.
